Obaidur Rahman

Mr. Obaidur Rahman FCA is a distinguished Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB), holding enrolment number 1029. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant through ICAB and currently serves as a partner of M A Fazal & Co., Chartered Accountants.

Mr. Obaidur trained and qualified with from Hoda Vasi Chowdhury & Co., Chartered Accountants. Having 20 years’ experience in various sectors such as Accounting, Finance, Internal Audit, MIS, Income Tax and VAT. He has been ranked as CFO and General Manager in top management position with various conglomerates in Bangladesh such as Meghna Group of Industries, MAX Group, Ratanpur Group, Keya Knit Composite and Sinha Opex Textiles Group. He is also expertise in ERP solution such as SAP, Oracle. His remarkable achievements were IPO and raising foreign loan for various organizations

Mr. Rahman is an Independent Director & Chairman, Audit Committee of United Commercial Bank PLC. He is an active member of both the Dhaka University Accounting Alumni and Dhaka University Alumni Association.
