blockchain consulting and has spoken at over 100 seminars. He also leads TCL
Computers, providing ICT training under the IDB-BISEW project.
He serves as Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of
Eastern Bank PLC and is a Board member of DCCI Business Institute. With over
40 years of experience in IT and finance, he brings strong expertise in both

Md. Abul Basher, FCA, FAIA, is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB), enrolment no. 840, and Managing Partner of
M A Fazal & Co., Chartered Accountants. He is also a Fellow Member of the
Association of International Accountants (AIA) since 2008.
He has extensive experience in finance, audit, and consultancy, including
telecom and government audits, due diligence for telecom firms, and
consultancy for donor-funded projects, particularly World Bank initiatives.

Obaidur Rahman, FCA
Mr. Obaidur Rahman, FCA, is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB), enrolment no. 1029, and a partner of M A
Fazal & Co., Chartered Accountants. He completed his training with Hoda Vasi
Chowdhury & Co. and has over 20 years of experience in accounting, finance,
internal audit, MIS, income tax, and VAT.
He has held senior leadership roles, including CFO and General Manager, at
leading conglomerates such as Meghna Group of Industries, MAX Group,
Ratanpur Group, Keya Knit Composite, and Sinha Opex Textiles Group. He is
also skilled in ERP systems like SAP and Oracle and has led IPOs and foreign
loan arrangements.
He currently serves as an Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit
Committee at United Commercial Bank PLC and is an active member of Dhaka
